Best Salt Alternative

I am of Mediterranean origin and love a good tomato salad. The thing about tomatoes is that salt is what gives them a powerful flavor. We all know the consequences of using conventional salt. When you factor in that salt is already in the foods we eat, it makes for an unhealthy and even dangerous situation.
So I went in search of a good alternative. I tried Kosher salt which has the less amount of sodium, but has no taste. Sea salt may seem like a good alternative, but the sodium content is high, and it contains something called calcium silicate, which I didn't like the sound of.
Then I came across something called Himalayan Crystal Salt. I actually heard about it on Dr. Oz, who used it in a vaporizer to promote healthy respiratory function. Although the sodium content may be seem high(570 mg. per quarter teaspoon) it is a pure salt with essential minerals. I also use less than the daily dose.
If you are looking for a salt substitute, but refuse to give up the taste, I highly recommend Himalayan Crystal Salt that has more benefits than the others. You can find them at health food stores, but the best priced is here, but you should weight the S&H!
