I'm having trouble with my computer, and haven't yet mastered my new XOOM, so I can't copy and paste.
After hearing about black foods on the Dr. Oz show, I was intregued. Black rice and black pasta were discussed. The rice is high in fiber. The pasta is a full blown cancer fighter. I researched it and found that black pasta is commonly called squid ink pasta.
If you Google 'squid ink pasta and check the News tab. At an AllVoices.com article titled 'Can squid ink pasta really stop tumor and cancer cells from growing?', it says:
New studies reveal that foods containing black squid ink fight cancer and tumor cells by preventing the growth of new blood vessels which causes tumor and cancer to grow.
Imagine that? Cancer can't grow and can be defeated where it lies.
We are making great strides against cancer and Alzheimer's. It is becoming possible to reverse Stage 4 pancreatic cancer as well as diabetes and other death sentance symptoms.
Nutrition, exercise, and changing your lifestyle can actually make the body heal itself.
In Italy I ate much black pasta that was made from octopus, squid, or cuttlefish ink. The single benefit as a possible cancer fighter makes squid ink a super food!
