To be healthier means that one has to change their lifestyle. This means being more aware of their food intake and exercise to name the major factors. This lifestyle is for life and not just for a few days, weeks, months, etc.!
Dr. Oz has a challenge that might help you become healthier.
After averaging a weight of 220 lbs., I finally started losing weight again and am at 214. I changed my shift from night to afternoon. This actually helped me eat better because I'm eating during daylight hours.
If you need some healthy cooking, check out Gen's Guiltless Gourmet. Just a side note: when recipes call for tofu or soy, I prefer not using those products or in many cases I use goat cheese instead!
No matter what, you can't avoid exercise in any healthy lifestyle. Whether you join a gym, buy the equipment or exercise naturally, movement is very important. Speaking for myself, I hardly ever use my home equipment, the gym and the people motivate me. My favorite natural exercise is walking briskly up steep hills. It builds endurance, strength, and gives you a great cardio-workout!
