Doctor Obvious

Sometimes stating the obvious makes people roll their eyes. Then there are times when it makes one come to grips with something they've known about but never questioned or asked about.
A study blames over-eating for US obesity. This as opposed to poor exercise. I didn't realize that a study like this existed, but I can honestly relate to it. When I was younger, I walked 5 miles to work almost everyday...weather permitting. Although I felt healthy, I was far from an ideal weight. My diet was obviously to blame, since I wasn't eating too healthy.
Obesity is a problem in the US and the rest of the world. People still have no clue on how to use the labels. What they think may be one serving may turn out to be two or more!
We also need to heed the MODERATION rule. I really hate to be the bearer of bad news. If you think this problem is going away any time soon, THINK AGAIN!
