Fountain Of Youth

To skip my soap-box moment, ignore the first two paragraphs.
In the past couple of months I lost over 20 lbs. without trying. I've been slacking off at my gym lately because of the Holidays, and the fact that my gym is at a mall. Fear not, my contract is up and I'm joining a new gym. The main point is that I still lost pounds without gym exercise...I still walk a lot and lift my weights. Keep in mind that I still work the graveyard shift which is notorious with weight gain.
The weight loss happened by me changing my diet. No white bread or pasta and less sugar in my coffee is what worked for me. I switched to whole wheat breads and pastas, and only use one teaspoon of sugar in my coffee, as opposed to three! I hope to switch to cinnamon soon and wean myself off of sugar by 70%...you will never be completely sugar-free.
But enough about me...
You might not live forever but scientists have found the secret to living longer...and healthier. Restricting calories, especially glucose, will help human cells live longer. This is a step forward in possibly finding drugs that can slow aging and prevent cancer.
If you follow this blog, you know how I feel about things like pancreatic cancer. Read this and you might understand what I mean.

I can't believe it myself, and I know it's a healthy weight loss because it happened as soon as I changed my diet. I think my doctor will be shocked when I go for my physical in February
