Since Spring has sprung, it would be great to go get some exercises outdoors. Walking is a great exercise for overall health. Start heading for parks and nature centers. If the ground permits it, climb hills! It's a great exercise for building strength, endurance and stamina. More about the benefits of walking here, here, and here to name a few. I should also point out that through personal experience I found that walking may not always help with weight loss. I literally walked miles each day to work and seemed to gain weight. The problem was that I wasn't eating well and consumed more calories than I could burn and needed. It should be noted that walking is highly beneficial, but not a cure all. Some people walk 10 miles a day but smoke, do drugs and have a poor diet. They are the ones who may not reap the benefits of walking in full!

New buzz words are developed such as antioxydants and people jump on the bandwagon to find the miracle cure. Nutrition, in my opinion, is best when it comes in variety of foods that we, as omnivores, require. Now I will get off my soapbox and give you some informative Nutrition Sites with an ever changing pyramid food chart! Here is another site to check out.
Just so you know, I am still against High Fructose Corn Syrup. More findings on HFCS that still leave you in the dark. Again you are not going to avoid it, but I suggest limiting the intake. We all know about the benefits of yogurt, but most yogurts contain guess what?
