Importance About Labels

Are you blindly buying products that are celebrity endorsed or make outrageous promises, especially when it comes to health? If I never wrote about it, you should know that waters like Dasani are nothing more than tap water drinks that promise to be natural. Of course the ones who produce it may have a problem with that claim, even though it was worldwide!
Now it may shock you to know that Vitaminwater isn't healthy, but is loaded with sugar. Lets check it out.
I'm guessing that the containers are 20 fl. oz. and therefore contain 2.5 servings. If you drink the entire container you must multiply all the numbers by 2.5. In this particular flavor there are 50 calories per serving. The calories in one container are 125. All the carbs come from sugars and there are 32.5 grams of sugar per container.
Now look at the ingredients:
Vapor distilled/deionized water, crystalline fructose, citric acid, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), natural flavor...
Ingredients are put in chronological order that goes from most used to least used. After water you have crystalline fructose. Anything that ends with ose is a sugar. Sucrose, HFructoseCS, etc. You get the picture!
