Introduction

This being the first post, I'll take a little time to explain why I (and Orble) created this blog and who I am.
My name is Claire Sundstrom and I live in Knoxville, TN. I'm a sophomore at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and I'm going part time. I live with my fiance, Matt, two cats and a dog (my babies). I've always been interested in health and fitness, and in the past few years started going to the gym regularly to work out. Right now I go for an hour, six days a week, to weight train and do cardio. I've always had a pretty healthy diet but now I eat "clean" - no processed foods whatsoever, and plenty of fruits and vegetables. Believe me, it was not easy giving up my favorite packaged foods! Frozen Cool Whip, anyone?
My dream is to be a personal trainer. I'm taking a class at UT right now that will give me the opportunity to volunteer in a gym setting and watch what goes on. Hopefully this will lead to a job and give me enough hours to start studying for the certification exam to be a P.T.
I got an opportunity to post about health, fitness and nutrition on an Orble blog, and I decided to take it. I'll be posting my progress along with health news, meal plans, diet book reviews, recipes, etc.
