In today's news headline we find a 'food' loophole come in to play. A father fights for custody of children over the mother's strict vegan rules! Whether I agree or not with this case is irrelevant.
It does prove that people can't grasp the concept that man is an omnivore!
When a Vietnam vet described the disgusting foods he ate to survive, many were grossed out and proclaimed that they would never eat that. Our society has become too soft and not undergone TRUE FAMINE where there is no food at the convenient stores and supermarkets. We have such convenience and food is as close as a hundred yards from your house. If there was no food, man would have to be an omnivorous scavenger to survive.
In case of starvation your diet will consist of anything you can eat including a lawn or poison berries! Maggots are protein. Fruit is fiber. Starve...then give your opinion.
