I really don't buy organic because it is much more expensive than standard. We tend to overlook that sometimes 'Organic' may also be more harmful than standard. The E-coli found in spinach was grown on organic farms.
A study has finally confirmed that organic is no healthier than standard. This may, or may not, deliver a blow to a billion dollar industry.
In my own personal experience, I was going on an organic health kick back in 2005. It only lasted a few months in that it was costly, made me gain weight, and screwed-up my digestive system. Results may vary. It was during this period that I also found that many may have been good organics today and bad organics tomorrow!
