Sin Vices and Health

June 17th 2009 18:23
Perhaps alcohol in moderation isn't as healthy as it was once thought. This will probably be an ongoing argument for decades to come. It might actually be people's moderate overall healthy lifestyle that can include alcohol, and be healthy overall. There is really no hard evidence that alcohol helps you live longer.

There is no doubt that in excess alcohol can have a detrimental affect on your overall health. I still believe a glass of wine may be highly beneficial with a meal in that it aids in digestion.

Another study concludes that marijuana can alter human DNA. Marijuana may contain as many carcinogens as cigarettes and can be cancer causing. I'll add that if one smokes 3-4 joints a day may have other health problems such as damage to the brain, emphysema, etc.
