Skeptical Hope

July 10th 2009 18:36
Suppose there was a pill that was like a mythological fountain of youth? Could you put a price on such a drug? Would you pay it? Good news, scientists have found a fountain of youth type of drug, so start the bidding!

Alright, this fountain doesn't make you younger, but rather it extends your lifespan by 10 years! I'm kind of skeptical and wonder if this is for real and what are the stipulations and side-effects. I can understand trying to extend the life of cancer patients. I have to wonder if it will be available to all aging people.

This is a great breakthrough on longevity and health and it gives me hope, even though I'm a bit skeptical.
