Soda's Deadly Link

In our daily fight against obesity, one of the main causes that keeps popping-up is soda. We can truly fight obesity if we remove our intake of sweetened carbonated beverages from our diets. I was once a soft drink junkie and consumed more soda than water. This may come back to haunt me later, but I hope not.
Now in a new study, soda is linked to pancreatic cancer. The high level of sugars in soda increases the level of insulin that is linked pancreatic cancer.
I admit that I am addicted to the carbonation of soda, that is why I drink club soda, seltzer and tonic water. Adding fruit juice, coffee, etc., can add that soda-dy flavor. I prefer drinking the alternatives without the flavor, but sometimes I'll indulge.
Soda is linked to many health problems in general. I would advise eliminating it or limiting it. You should take note that the soda industry is very manipulative and deceiving when it comes to portions. A serving is 8 fl. oz. and a can is 12 fl. oz. If you drink a whole can of soda(and who doesn't), you should read the label accordingly because everything is one-plus-half. A 20 fl. oz. bottle of soda contains two and a half servings. All labels give the total for ONE serving only. If nothing else multiply the calories and sugar by servings and prepare for a shock!
