We all heard about the scares with meats and produce being contaminated with E. coli and Salmonella. We solved the produce part by stressing the washing of fruits and vegetables. Meats should be cooked thoroughly, but that isn't always effective. Now comes the future of meat safety that has always been around.
When I starting reading this article, I began to worry because I had just consumed beef jerky a couple of days ago. Then I found out that beef jerky is safer, more convenient, tastes great, lasts longer, has been around since ancient times. I also want to add that if you consume the right portion amount, it is a healthy snack loaded with protein.
