The Unhealthy Healthy

Here are 9 health foods that aren't. The sad thing is that I knew most of these facts, but assumed it was common sense. The alternatives are pretty increadible and I will add my own at times.
1. The Bran Muffin has always been known to me to be more unhealthy than healthy. They state their alternative. Mine is a bran cereal instead of both.
2. Chicken Cassar Salad makes me wonder why it is even considered healthy. They name their alternative. Mine is a mixed greens salad and salmon.
3. Tuna Melt has always been a disaster waiting to happen. They name their alternative and I agree.
4. Chicken Wrap is something I always avoid. Their alternative is good, but people would really benefit if they cut out most condiments.
5. Turkey Burger is well...I agree with their pick! Beef is still a good healthy food...but don't overdo it.
6. Fruit Smoothies I always bought the real thing which meant it was more expensive. Eventually I bought a smoothie mixer and made my own. I'll share them in another entry. A smoothie maker is less than $30.
7. Granola Bar! They name their alternative. Mine is Triscuits and Mozzarella cheese. Now to get on my soapbox to rant...a couple years ago Men's Health listed 100 best foods for men. They listed a few granola bars. Later the great advocates of anti-HFCS enlightened us that these foods contain HFCS.
8. Pasta Salad and my alternative would be a hard boiled egg.
9. Yogurt with fruit on bottom or anything other than plain yogurt isn't healthy. Agreed with their alternatives!
