The key to living a healthy life is 'moderation.' Always beware of those trying to sell you a health fix and always follow your doctor's advice. Exercise needs to always be part of a healthy routine.
I like The World's Healthiest Foods site, because it offers a wealth of information. It gives you a list of their picks and also gives you a reason why the foods were picked. It breaks down the health benefits and nutritional values. The site also gives you recipes and so much more.
Clicking on 'Getting Started' at the top of the page will take you to the site map and navigation center.
The trick to the site is to read EVERYTHING including concerns about the food. An example is Soybeans that are beneficial only in moderation. Unlike the soy and tofu rave that is currently going on, where we are consuming a month's worth at one sitting. I was amazed that this site actually addressed concerns that 'health' salespeople may keep from you.
