In certain markets of the United States, there are shows on health information that have actual doctors giving health advice. The advice is very informative and effective. Dr. Phil is not included, although they all have the Oprah connection...ha-ha!
I can swear that this guy was a founder of Real Age along with Michael Roizen. Since I am not sure, let me just say that he applies Real Age principles. The thing is that his show turns it up a notch. Imagine Real Age on steroids with a how-to visual aid! Today was his second episode, and Dr. Oz tackled the swine flu, weight loss and private parts, among other things. He also pointed that a 39(?) year old obese woman had a Real Age of 52(?)...the ages may be off but you get the jest...so your Real Age may be higher than your actual age!
Another doctor show that gives good advice on health issues is The Doctors TV show! It has various types of doctors giving advice in their area of expertise and beyond.
In this reality-TV madness, we should be thankful that there is some type of reality involving our health. As always, only YOUR REAL DOCTOR knows for sure!
