I realize that I have been talking too much about brain matters on this blog. I personally never want to hear that I have alzheimers or dementia, because I am susceptible because of a parent. I hope a cure arrives as research is aggressively pursuing a cure or a way to cope with these mind depriving diseases. Alzheimers will quadruple worldwide by 2050, and will become a health epidemic unless something is done NOW!!!
Although most research is done after the onset of the diseases, scientists are now seeking volunteers with diagnosed mild or moderate alxheimers. If it hasn't yet arrived in your area, give it time because it just arrived about 100 miles from my area. Do I dare add my own theory of a lifestyle that may cause brain diseases? I'm betting your chances increase with alcohol and drug use. Note the fact that I said use, not abuse. I don't, of course, include prescription drugs but rather only recreational drugs.
